Scanning devices and sensors for TSC-type devices

Principles of sensors and scanning devices classification:

By the type of information reading: scanning mode (inspection with length gauging) and "timer" mode (inspection without length gauging).

By designation (depending on the test object) and by the number of measurement channels.

By the variants of flux-gate transducers layout: one-component sensors (for measurement of the magnetic field normal component); two-component sensors (for measurement of the magnetic field normal and tangential components); three-component sensors (for measurement of the magnetic field normal and two tangential components). Two- and three-component sensors are used for improving the inspection effectiveness by special techniques.
